Leeanna Pendergast MPP with Nancy Knowles (Zion United Church)

On February 12th, Nancy Knowles, associated with the New Hamburg Board of Trade as well as assisting with the Flood Relief Committee, showed Kitchener-Conestoga MPP Leeanna Pendergast around areas of New Hamburg that were dealing with that day's flooding of the Nith River after the recent winter thaw and rains.
While there, Nancy put Pendergast in touch by cellular phone with a New Hamburg resident who at that moment was unable to leave their home as it was surrounded by high water. This resident gave a first hand perspective of the situation that the MPP otherwise would have not been exposed to or aware of.
