New Hamburg Board of Trade Executive Meeting

October 22, 2008

A short executive meeting was held following the General Membership meeting.

Present: Paul Knowles, Nigel Gordijk, Tom Hinz, Dave Seyler, Lynne Mackie, Doug Brenneman, Tim Bender, Terry McIntosh, Larry Zehr, and Audrey Cook

Absent: Ed Lemont.

Kristen Hahn attended the meeting and explained the Harry Potter Feast, which she is planning for December 4.

There followed discussion on items Kristen felt the Board's involvement could help her with, notably marketing and insurance.

Volunteers would be needed for the event and any profit would go to the J. K. Rowling charity. The Harry Potter style feast with focus on British, holiday cuisine will be catered by Meredith and served by "House Elves". Entertainment will be by local musicians, magicians and entertainers. She is hoping the event would draw 300 people.

A motion to endorse the event by Tom, second Lynne. Carried.
