MOT update: A reduced speed zone has been proposed for Nafziger Rd. to Tavistock Rd. This has been tested by one of our members and has meant a difference of 90 seconds for a driver traveling this route. Motion Dave, second Nigel that the Board of Trade prefers a controlled speed area to any other changes. Carried.

GO train: Discussions are taking place with regard to having a GO Train layover or 'end of line' to store trains in the west part of Baden. Eventually this would be the west end station for Kitchener-Waterloo. Pending further information the executive of the Board of Trade will not make any recommendations.

Duck Race: We have volunteers, however a chair has not been officially named.

Advertising: The committee is proposing a reduction in costs for advertising with the use of posters, Pennysaver ads, and small ads vs. full page, as has been done in the past. Also Visitor Magazine is being looked at for a "Welcome to New Hamburg" article. Other advertising for future events will be discussed further. Approval Lynn, second Tim.

Website update: There is a total of 48 listings on our website. More members will be encouraged to give information to Nigel so that they can be posted.

Festival of the Arts: Information is posted on the website, www.newhamburglive.ca.

New Business: Waterwheel. This is usually started before the Mennonite Relief Sale each year, however the committee is not sure of Ministry of Fisheries rules. Dave will contact Bob Zehr.
