Speaker Susan Cudahy head of the Tourism Board in Waterloo Region was introduced by Grant Whittington. Thanked by Lyle Cressman who suggested at this time that it would be good for the Board of Trade to be a member of the Tourism Board and take advantage of Tourism Weblink.

Copies of minutes from our previous General Meeting and Executive Meeting were circulated. Approved Dave Seyler, second Nigel. Carried.

President Paul reminded members of the Bypass meeting Thurs. Nov. 27 and urged everyone to attend and voice their opposition.

Thanks were directed to Mark Murray and Scott Pfaff for putting up the downtown Christmas lights. Reminder that volunteers are needed for the Christmas Parade on December 7.

Wilmot Family Resource Centre Family Violence Committee is requesting a member of the Board of Trade to sit on this committee.

Volunteers are needed for the Rubber Duck Race on July 1, 2009. This need includes a coordinator.

Harry Potter Night is December 4, and Kristin Hahn spent a few minutes updating the members on plans for the evening.
