The New Hamburg Board of Trade thanks Schaeffler Canada Inc.

Friday, November 22, 2013

Earlier this year, Schaeffler Canada Inc./FAG Aerospace Inc donated bearings that were used to repair the New Hamburg heritage waterwheel. On Friday, November 22, 2013, representatives from the New Hamburg Board of Trade met with some Schaefler Bearings' officials to present them with a gift to show our appreciation for their generosity.

Schaeffler's Bill Hilstrom and Rick Roes were presented with a framed photo of the waterwheel. The photo was shot and donated by Board of Trade member Bill MacKay, and the frame was constructed by the Board's president, Tim Bender, using some of the wheel's original spokes, which were replaced a few years ago.
